| Asus Eee Box EB1020 and EB1021 AMD Fusion-powered Nettop Appeared at CeBIT 2011 Posted: 01 Mar 2011 04:00 AM PST ASUS has new nettops as shown over at CeBIT 2011. The two Asus Eee Box mini desktop PCs are called the Asus Eee Box EB1020 and the Asus Eee Box EB1021. They are built on AMD Brazos platform, including Fusion APU hybrid processors with an integrated graphics, which supports DirectX 11 API.

It appears that, even with all the fuss about the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 standard, companies are still not totally sold on the technology.
The PicoDrive Dual Pro drives measure 61 (W) x 20 (D) x 5.9 (H) mm, they just just 9 grams, and are backed by a one-year warranty. The newly drive is provides a dual channel technology and delivers read and write speeds of up to 30 MB/s and 24 MB/s, respectively. It has a USB 2.0 connectivity interface. Green House should already be shipping the drive in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB versions, each priced at $40, $67, $122 and $242, respectively. The company also offers a one-year warranty with each of them. |
