Okay, so a clear lipgloss is basic in any stash. Sad to say, I don’t have any. But good thing, Hubby’s parents made my wish come true.

 I was actually lemming for MAC’s clear lipgloss but I always find it too expensive. Besides, there are more things worth prioritizing than an expensive clear lipgloss. 

So let’s now go to the actual product. It has a slant tip applicator in an easy squeeze tube which makes it convenient for the user. 

Here’s the product on my lips. It gives a good amount of shine and it doesn’t feel heavy at all! It also has a light fruity scent that is not overpowering.

Will I buy this again? Well, I’ll prolly use this for a long time because I will just be using this for occasions that will require glazed or uber wet lips. Besides, it’s not available locally and I will not go the extra mile to buy this one. So that’s a no. :p

THE VERDICT:

 After a month of using this, here’s what I can finally say about this product.

 I’ve grabbed this in lieu of my Kiehl’s facial wash, which is my HG. But since Kiehl’s is too expensive, I decided to embark on a search for a cleanser for oily skinned people like me.

 So this fine cleansing foam targets oily skin. The consistency of the cleansing foam is like whipped silk. It’s very lush, soft and velvet- y. And it also lathers up to a generous amount, which I like. It gives me this sense of feeling clean. Also, the lather is so fine and smooth, you’ll enjoy washing your face. It has this clean and light floral scent that is definitely not overpowering. It’s a pretty big tube and a little goes a long so you’ll pretty much use this for quite a long time.

 After washing my face, it instantly feels clean. A bit squeaky, but not dry. For me, the squeaky clean feeling is the sign that a good amount of facial oil was removed. But I am not sure how this works in keeping oil at bay during the day because I use a primer underneath make- up.

 It’s still pretty expensive for me so I’m still on another search for a good facial wash. So far, I haven’t experienced any breakouts from this cleanser. I’m still testing Etude. If Etude does not do me good, I’ll prolly stick with this facial foam.

THE VERDICT:

So this is a Christmas present by one of my ninangs. I am so glad that I finally have another perfume in my stash. And this time, it's from Gucci.

So let's see if this delights me or frights me.

I love the packaging. This is a sleek and compact 30ml bottle in a square plastic design. It will not spill, break or get crushed in your bag. It slips comfortably anywhere unlike big bottles with rounded or edged designs. So I give the packaging 10 stars.

Now let's go to the scent. Let's go to the gucci site and let us get the notes for this perfume:

Gucci Rush For Women is Floral, Semi-Oriental, Vanilla

Gucci Rush For Women is a sharp, oriental, woody fragrance. It is the result of the following top fragrance Notes: bergamot, peony and freesia. The middle notes are: violet, jasmine and carnation and the base of the fragrance is: orris sandalwood and vetiver

Gucci Rush For Women is recommended for romantic use

It is indeed SHARP! This is another scent that older women will love. But in terms of class, this perfume smells expensive, just like the staple whiff you get from designer brands like Chanel and Dior.

Okay so this one comes off strong on the first spray, which will really remind you of your mom. But it mellows down to a soft vanilla- floral scent which is a bit overpowering to some, including me. But it really does stay on for hours and one can truly say that you're wearing a perfume because of the strong smell. Another factor that made me not like this perfume is the vanilla scent. I like vanilla scented lippies but I really don't like it in perfume form. It really makes me light- headed and I really feel like puking. No offense to vanilla scent lovers! But this just goes to show that scent is a matter of preference.

But at least mom liked the perfume. I gave it to her as part of my Christmas present. As for me, I'm really better off with light floral colognes or perfumes with any undertones but Vanilla or anything sweet.

CASH AND CARRY MALL HAUL FOR TODAY

I was looking forward to shopping in MOA yesterday but hubby and I ended up babysitting Al, his pamangkin. So we spent the whole day in Timezone with him and went out of the place at 6pm. We needed to rush to Better Living for a dinner so the shopping did not materialize.

So I just visited my friendly Cash and Carry mall to try sporting a few goodies. Also, I needed to deposit some Christmas money to my ATM account. But before doing so, I did spend a few of the cash. YIKES.

I shopped at the Good Find, which is the tiangge section of Cash and Carry. Also, I shopped in Mint and American Bazaar.

I got this spandex tank top because of the nice print for 150php only. It hugs my body comfortably. I'm not the type who's fond of wearing tank tops because I've always believed that they don't look good on me. But here's the chance to try it. :p

And I got this nice dress from the 300php rack. It's a brown maxi dress with pink and white flowers. It's such a lovely and comfy dress! From 1150php, I got this for 300php only. Isn't it a real steal deal? :)

Also, I've had a few hauls from American Bazaar, which is the counterpart of Saizen and Japan Home. Sorry, I didn't get to post that here. But here are the stuff that I got: Lucky watermelon handwash, cat food tray, bone toy made of rope, and beware of dog gate signage.
