Hello dollies! How's your weekend? Mine went pretty well and this package totally made my week lovely. :)

So here's a love package that came in last friday. It's sis dimples (babyjaprn) of girltalk and blogger pahabol xmas gift. :)

At first, I thought that it is a face powder of some sort. She thought that it is a vintage item so I thought that it is a vintage- brand face powder! Hahahaha (make- up is literally a natural impulse for me).

But when I opened the box, it is indeed a lovely piece of accessory!

A lovely locket with Cleopatra's pic. Di kaya hanapin ng mom mo 'to? LOL! :P

Whaddaya know? It's a necklace watch locket! It's a perfect jewelry to spice plain outfits and at the same time, a perfect piece of costume jewelry for my plays!

Here's a list of my finished products for 2009. Surprisingly, I haven't finished a single lipstick! Well, that goes to show that I have too much of it! :)

KIEHL’S NON- DETERGENT FOAMING FACIAL CLEANSER

Emptied a 250ml bottle of this and decided to settle with a cheaper alternative from TFS or Etude House.

  KIEHL’S MIXED BERRIES FACIAL TONER

Emptied a 150ml bottle of this and decided to settle for the cheapest, which is Ultra Facial Toner, which will also complement my Ultra Facial Moisturizer .

 L’OREAL ROYAL JELLY SHAMPOO

Emptied around 10- 13 bottles of this! I have long hair so I use up shampoo quickly. But a bottle in the biggest size usually lasts me for 1- 1 1/2 months. 

MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION

Emptied 2 NC40s and 1 NC42. My HG powder foundation .

 KIEHL’S SUPERBLY RESTORATIVE LOTION WITH ARGAN OIL

Emptied a 250ml bottle of this one. HG material, but price is too steep for me. 

 MAC STUDIO FINISH CONCEALER

Finally, I let it go after 4 years of using it. Well, not totally. 20% was still left and I sold it off for 100 bucks.

ECLAT D’ ARPEGE BY LANVIN

My HG perfume. Emptied one 30ml bottle and one 100ml bottle. Currently used up 25% of my 100ml bottle.

 MAC BLOT POWDER (MEDIUM DARK)

Emptied one compact, but accidentally dropped and crushed it while it’s still around 60%. Transferred it to a jar. 

 CHANEL INMITABLE MASCARA

Emptied one tube.

So I gave you a list of my hottest purchases last 2009. So here's a run- down of my top 5 worst purchases in 2010:

THE FACE SHOP FELT TIP EYELINER PEN

Smudges like crazy and it would always end up inside my eyes and sting 'em! After using it twice, I gave up on it.

BENEFIT BENETINT

A total waste of money. Doesn't give you any hint of rosiness at all! Oh well, good thing I got it from a swap.

ELIANTO PRESSED EYESHADOWS

The most sensitive eyeshadows I have ever owned. Even a slight blow of the wind can turn these into powder! (of course I'm exaggerating). And the colors have the tendency to oxidize, especially the black color, which can turn to gray if you sweat!

PAUL AND JOE LIQUID FOUNDATION

Slow- drying and definitely makes my face look greasy, which is worse than being oily.

LAURA MERCIER MINERAL PRESSED POWDER WITH SPF15

- Shades can fool you. The shades are pink based so it literally turns my face shade two shades lighter than my normal skin tone. I swear not to buy LM powders again because their shade range suits fair skinned ladies more

NOTEBOOK

I love notebooks! I always like jotting down stuff so I make it a point that I have notebooks in my bag, whether big or small. And Teneues is currently my fave brand. And this lovely Chaplin Teneues notebook is so cute, I want to have it! :)

PEN SET

I like writing my stuff in different pen colors because it keeps me reminded of what I should do due to the pseudo- color coding scheme.

WET WIPES

Okay, call me OC but I like bringing an Alcohol and Wet Wipes in handy. Either of the two. Because I really like it when my hands feel clean. :)

LONGCHAMP LE PLIAGE DARK BLUE LARGE LONG HANDLED

I like bringing a lot of stuff so my Longchamp has always been my best buddy ever since I purchased it. I always put a lot if stuff in it yet there always seem to be room for more!

AQUAZORB

Best towels, IMO. Super absorbent, lightweight and it dries quickly! A must- have for me. :)

TOILET DISINFECTANT

For vile surfaces, we need Holy Seat to clear off unwanted bacteria in public toilets. We never know when we'll need this especially during emergency crap sessions so I always keep this handy. Hmmm.. I wonder if someone ever thought of making a seat disinfectant for the seat in the government? Maybe that should keep the next president uninfected. :p

Music is my escape so this is a must- carry in my bag. Always.

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. And it is my most favorite celebration of the year! As part of my year- ender blog posts, here are 10 random Christmas facts about The Beauty Junkee:

1. I only eat puto bumbong and bibingka during the Xmas season. It's a Xmas food which makes Christmas pig outs very special.

2. I like wrapping gifts. Seriously.

3. I always put up our Christmas tree and decorations. I've been doing it for 10 years now.

4. I always love shopping for xmas, whether big or small, expensive or cheap, as long as I have something to give to the ones I love this xmas.

5. Mom and I will always cook something for the poor and unfortunate and will roam around the neighborhood and the highway to spot beggars and wanderers to hand them food for their Noche Buena.

6. I always buy a new top/outfit/bottom for Christmas

7. We always have our Lunch get- together with relatives on the 25th. Always.

8. I always play loud music during Christmas.

9. We always distribute and open our gifts after having our Noche Buena.

10. I always send messages to the people I love via text messaging

NARS BLUSHES

The best blushes I've encountered so far. Pigmentation is great, colors are unique and the pan will really last you long! Each of the colors have their own allure and my current favorite, which is Lustre, never fails to give me a unique peach- gold glow that is far better than Orgasm IMO. :)

L'OREAL ELSEVE SHAMPOO

I've been changing brands because my hair's kinda' picky when it comes to brands. I'm looking for a wonderful shampoo that will not give me dandruff, sticky hair and will keep my hair soft and good- smelling throughout the day. All of these, I found in Elseve. I'm currently using the Royal Jelly line and I am truly amazed how it made my hair luxuriously soft and manageable.

KRYOLAN SUPRACOLOR PALETTE

I admire Kryolan's foundation line because it really does serve its purpose in the theatre. Almost waterproof, excellent coverage and it just keeps up with me during shows by not running, caking and streaking! Pigmentation is great so a little goes a long way. Don't be fooled by the small button refills because though small in size, these foundies will definitely last you for years!

ECLAT D' ARPEGE BY LANVIN

My HG scent. It starts off fresh then mellows down to a soft floral scent that truly captures my essence: Fun, flirty and feminine.

KRYOLAN INVISIBLE MATT FACE PRIMER

It looks like a moisturizer, feels like a moisturizer yet it keeps skin oil- free and keeps make- up stick on your face for hours!

KIEHL'S SKIN CARE LINE

Their Ultra Facial Moisturizer is love. It keeps my face soft and supple throughout the day. The Non- Detergent Foaming cleanser really does keep oil at bay and the Ultra Facial and Mixed Berries Toner didn't sting my face at all! Kiehl's skin care line is truly, a must- have for skin- obssesed women.

ILLAMASQUA LIPSTICKS

The only matte lipstick so far that doesn't give me flaky or dry lips throughout the day. Colors are unique, pigmentation is great and it lasts the whole day!

BOBBI BROWN SKIN FOUNDATION

Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation is LOVE in a bottle. It is gives off a sheer pay- off, just like second skin, and yet it gives an outstanding coverage by minimizing redness and covering those nasty pores and bumps. It's truly lightweight, blends like a dream and the coverage lasts the whole day! It does oil a bit on hot and humid conditions but it doesn't cake, streak or run like crazy which goes to show that this has outstanding quality. And a little goes a long way! It's water based so it doesn't feel hot on the face. I am really repurchasing this! :)

REVLON COLORSTAY EYELINER (BLACK)

I've finally found my HG eyeliner in Revlon. It withstand tears and water which makes it a perfect tool for Theatre Artists like me!

KRYOLAN EYESHADOW BASE

They say that UDDPP is the best there is in terms of making eye make- up last longer. I say that Kryolan's Eyeshadow Base will definitely beat UDPP because of it's ability to keep my eye make- up last for 6 hours without creasing! And the best part, it's cheaper by a mere 400+php. :)
